I can still do better - Christian

Christian Eriksen reflected on another positive Premier League outing and insisted: "There is more to come."

The playmaker capped the week where he was named Player of the Year by the Danish equivalent of the PFA with another crucial goal for us.

This time, Christian raced onto Emmanuel Adebayor's flick before firing home to open the scoring against Crystal Palace at the Lane, a key strike after a goalless first half and we went on to win 2-0 with Jermain Defoe grabbing the second.

That made it three goals in his last four Premier League matches including the second goal at Old Trafford.

"I have a lot more to show," said Christian.

"I’m lucky I can provide goals and create some chances, but I can still do better and I will work every day to do that.

"It’s been a good career until now and I’m really happy to win the Danish award and to score some goals. I'm really happy to play here."

Christian said the players were pleased to make it four wins and a draw in our last five matches in the Premier League - but that the pressure to continue winning was always there.

"Hopefully we can continue that form," he said. "We need to do that to stay at the top because all the other teams are winning as well. We have to keep that pressure on the other teams."
