Hugo's Hull target

Sat 22 November 2014, 08:05|Tottenham Hotspur

Hugo Lloris sees Sunday's clash at Hull as the chance to kick-start the season.

The goalkeeper admitted defeat against Stoke last time out hit hard but is confident we can turn our form around.

“It’s difficult to forget what happened in the last few games but after the international break we are fresh in our heads and we have to look ahead,” said Hugo. “We can focus again and think about improving in the table.”

That starts at the KC Stadium and Sunday’s 4pm kick-off.

The Tigers - likely to include ex-Spurs Michael Dawson, Tom Huddlestone and Jake Livermore - go into the match with one win in the last 10 in the Premier League, following promising draws against Liverpool and Arsenal with defeats against Southampton and Burnley.

“Hull is a difficult place to win but we don’t have a choice, we need to bounce back and return to winning ways,” added Hugo.

“We know the position we’re in in the table but we also know we can turn it around quickly with some wins, so our target is to win at Hull, to find our confidence and to play with fighting spirit.”
