Harry's sights on Foxes

Harry Kane summed up the players thoughts going into Saturday’s Premier League clash against Leicester by declaring: “We’re raring to go.”

The talk this week has been all about writing a wrong after the nature of last week’s loss at Manchester United.

“We all know it wasn’t good enough,” stated Harry, whose 26-goal season was buoyed further by his first senior England call on Thursday.

“The lads have been sharp in training this week and raring to go.

“We just want that next game to come and go out and perform. This is a great chance to go out and do well in front of our fans at the Lane and to get back on the right path again. That’s what we’re looking to do.

“We have a great togetherness here and we stick together. We have to go out there, get a win before the international break and try to get some momentum going again because we’re still right up there.”

Harry - who scored in our 2-1 win at Leicester’s King Power Stadium on Boxing Day - knows more than most about the Foxes having spent time on loan there at the end of the 2012-13 campaign.

“These are tough games, Leicester are fighting for their lives at the bottom of the league and they will give everything,” he added.

“We have to be ready for that. We’re fighting as well and hopefully we can perform to the ability we’ve showed this season and get the three points.”
