Our return to Premier League action this weekend takes place on familiar territory for Harry Kane.
Our England Under-21 striker had a spell on loan with Norwich City – our hosts on Sunday – in the opening months of last season.
And as we prepare to visit Carrow Road, Harry has spoken about how the sense of belief resonating around the club means we’re buoyant heading into the match.
“We need to push on in the Premier League and get the result away at Norwich,” said the 20-year-old, who was a late substitute in Thursday night’s Europa League round of 32 first leg defeat to FC Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk.
“Like Thursday it will be a tough game but with the ability we’ve got in this team we can do well. We always play to our capabilities and we should be able to get it done.”
As the business end of the season approaches, Harry is up for the fight as we bid to secure a place in the top four.
And he reckons the confidence gained from back-to-back wins in our last two top flight outings – the latter of which was our thumping 4-0 win at Newcastle United – gives us an ideal platform on which to build.
“Momentum helps, especially when you look at our form away from home,” he added. “We had a great win last week at St James’ Park and we’ve just got to push on from there and get as many positive results as we can between now and the end of the season.”
