Tim Sherwood declared 'you didn't want that chance to fall to anyone else' after Christian Eriksen slotted home our injury time equaliser at West Brom on Saturday.
The Danish star finished in style in the fourth of six minutes' added time to complete our comeback from 3-0 down to a 3-3 draw.
We started poorly at The Hawthorns and found ourselves 2-0 inside four minutes.
Emmanuel Adebayor then missed a penalty and the Baggies made it 3-0 just after the half-hour mark.
Kyle Naughton kick-started the comeback when he cross looped home off Jonas Olsson and the second half was one-way traffic.
Harry Kane made it 3-2 on 70 minutes before the grandstand finale saw Christan control Aaron Lennon's cross, shift onto his right foot and power his shot into the top corner.
"It was a fantastic strike," said Tim. "Other players might have rushed it on their left foot but not Christian, as soon as he cut inside there was only one thing catching the ball, and that was the net."
Tim also had praise for Harry Kane, who made it two goals in two Premier League starts for us.
"I heard Les Ferdinand say to him ‘goals are like buses, once you score one they keep coming’ and let’s hope they continue to do so. His work rate was fantastic again."
