Tottenham Hotspur Foundation’s specialist higher education and employment team is heading to London’s largest jobs and careers event at London Excel from 21 – 22 November, where young people can seek expert advice on taking their next steps along the pathway to employment.
The Foundation, in partnership with Haringey Youth Service, will promote a range of opportunities available to London’s 15 – 24-year-olds, through successful projects that are currently being delivered across the Borough.
Attendees will be given the opportunity to take part in a range of activities at the Tottenham Hotspur Foundation stand, including The Interview Chair, designed to get people thinking about body language during interviews; Assets for Success, where young people can engage in interactive sessions to assess their own skills for the future; Duke of Edinburgh Challenge; and the Batak Wall, to test reaction speeds under the guidance of a Tottenham Hotspur Foundation coach.
The event will see over 180 exhibitors, including top employers, colleges, training providers and advisors, delivering a mixture of hands-on activities and information about over 40,000 jobs, including apprenticeships, on offer to London’s young people.
Young people and their families are welcome at Skills London, which is open from 10am – 4pm on Friday 21 and Saturday 22 November at London’s Excel.
