Every game huge for Wales - Ben

Ben Davies knows every game is huge now for Wales in Euro 2016 qualifying.

Wales travel to Israel for an early top-of-the-table clash in Group B in Haifa tomorrow (Saturday, March 28, 5pm).

Israel top the group with a 100 per cent record after three of their 10 games.

Wales are second on eight points having played a game more but still unbeaten after a fine goalless draw at favourites Belgium last time out.

Indeed, Belgium - with Spurs trio Mousa Dembele, Nacer Chadli and Jan Vertonghen in the squad - are fourth at the moment and they also travel to Israel and face Cyprus in this round of matches.

Qualification is open for the finals in France with group winners and runners-up both going through alongside the third-placed team with the best record in the nine groups.

The remaining eight third-placed teams will then play-off for the final four places.

“This is another massive game but to be honest, every game is now,” said Ben, who is aiming to win his 13th cap in Israel.

“It’s a tough game away but if we can get something out there it will put us in a good position to push on again.

“We know if we want to succeed in this group it’s a game we have to go and pick up points in.

“There is a lot of positivity in the squad, especially after how we’ve started the group and we have to continue picking up points.”

If successful, it will be Wales’ first major tournament appearance since the 1958 World Cup.

“There is a lot of history on our shoulders, as a country we haven’t quite made it through to the finals of a tournament for a long time now so it would be nice to put a run together and really kick on in the group,” added Ben.
