Eric Dier and Nabil Bentaleb paid a surprise visit to children attending the Tottenham Hotspur Soccer Schools Easter Residential Programme at Haileybury College, Hertfordshire.
The week-long course provides the opportunity for boys aged 9 to 15 and girls 11 to 19 to get the ultimate coaching experience.
Participants stay at the first class Haileybury facilities and improve their game by working with fully-qualified coaches from the Tottenham Hotspur Academy, learning to play ‘the Tottenham Hotspur way’ on a daily basis.
Youngsters from all over the country, Europe and indeed the world have joined the Easter course, and what a treat they got today!
Eric and Nabil stopped by to observe their afternoon session and take part in a Q&A, passing on their top tips along the way.
Eric said: “It’s a great opportunity for these kids. I remember being a kid and always wanting to play football during my school holidays, so this is perfect for them.
“The coaches are fantastic so the kids will learn a lot from being on the course and working with them every day.”
Nabil added: “The kids are really enjoying themselves and it was great to make them even more happy by coming along to visit them today.
“When you are at a young age, it should be all about enjoying the game, and these kids are showing that as well as working hard with the coaches.”
