Tottenham Hotspur (Spurs) Football Club is located in North London. The club is also known as Spurs. Tottenham's home ground is White Hart Lane. The club motto is Audere est Facere (To dare is to do).
Jermain Defoe says it's 'special' that he's broken through the 20-goal barrier in all competitions this season.
The England star has bagged 21 so far this campaign and become the first striker to top the 20 mark since both Teddy Sheringham and Chris Armstrong managed it back in 1995-96.
Currently on 12 goals in the Barclays Premiership after his header against Manchester City last time out, Jermain's next target will no doubt be to try and match Jurgen Klinsmann's 20 league goals back in 1994-95.
He beamed: "At the start of the season if people would have said to me you'll score 20-plus goals I think I'd have taken that. It's a lot of goals.
"To me that's special. For me, my family, everyone. That's what I'm about, it's what I do best. I love scoring goals, it's a great feeling. There is a long way to go yet as well so some more would be nice!"
Jermain spearheads a strikeforce at the club that has bagged 46 goals already this season. Robbie Keane has a healthy 15, Fredi Kanoute seven and newcomer Mido three.
"Robbie will always get goals, he's a great goalscorer," said Jermain. "Fredi has done well, Mido is coming back from injury and looking sharp and we're all scoring, so it's looking good for the team.
"Everyone is working hard and we want to keep it going. The team has been great this season, we've achieved a bit but we can achieve more."
JERMAIN'S TOP THREE (so far) OF 04-05
August 28, 2004: Barclays Premiership: Spurs 1, Birmingham City 0
All his own work as Jermain received a pass from Noe Pamarot, spun away from Matthew Upson, turned away from Kenny Cunningham and lashed ball into the corner from 25 yards. Jermain: "That was a good goal. I turned Matthew Upson and someone else, took another touch and decided I was going to hit it. To be honest it took a slight deflection but I think it was going in anyway."
November 9, 2004: Carling Cup: Burnley 0, Spurs 3
The third goal and a touch of class. Robbie Keane flicked the ball around corner for Jermain from Stephen Kelly's pass. Jermain travelled a few yards, spotted Brian Jensen off his line and curled it over the keeper and into the top corner from 25 yards. Jermain: "I liked the one against Burnley, the chip. Robbie did well on that one. I love all of them to be honest! They all count but obviously it's even better if they contribute to a win."
December 18, 2004: Barclays Premiership: Spurs 5, Southampton 1
The first goal of a hat-trick. It all started with great defending from Michael Carrick and a 40-yard pass up the touchline to set up a counter attack. Fredi Kanoute raced away from Danny Higginbotham, took the ball to the byline and waited for the perfect moment to find Jermain, who had worked a yard of space in the box and crashed home Fredi's cutback. Jermain: "It was my first one against Southampton where Fredi cut it back and it was difficult to try and keep it down. That was obviously a special day because I went on to score a hat-trick."
