Danny expects difficult game

Danny Rose says our hard work must continue as we prepare to face Liverpool at White Hart Lane.

The Reds come to N17 today looking to bounce back from Monday night’s defeat at Manchester City.

Left-back Danny, who this week received his first call-up to the senior England national team after a flying start to the season, expects a stern test – but believes our 100 per cent start to the campaign means we can approach the match in a positive frame of mind.

“It’s going to be a difficult game,” said the 24-year-old. “Liverpool are just coming off the back of a defeat at Manchester City so they’ll be coming here trying to win.

“But we’re in good form, we’re scoring goals and we’re all looking forward to the game.”
