Club launches Hotspur Heroes to reward fantastic support

The Club has today launched a new initiative to recognise its most passionate, long-serving and committed supporters.
Hotspur Heroes gives fans the chance to nominate individuals who they feel have gone the extra mile to show support for their beloved Club.
Whether it’s over an incredible number of years, by travelling extraordinary distances or through personal adversity, any Club member can be nominated as a Hotspur Hero for their support by friends or family.
Nominations can be made at www.tottenhamhotspur.com/hotspur-heroes/ and will be reviewed by a committee at the Club before being invited as a special guest to a selected Premier League match at White Hart Lane.
At the match, the Hotspur Hero and their family will be taken on an exclusive pre-match tour of the tunnel and dressing room areas, before being formally presented to the crowd prior to kick-off, when a presentation will be made by a Club legend.
Brian Mann, 79, was the first Hotspur Hero to be recognised at our recent match against Leicester City, having been attending matches at White Hart Lane since 1946.
He was accompanied by his wife and grandson at the match, as well as two supporters who had put Brian forward for nomination, where he was presented with a special gift pitchside by Cliff Jones, a member of the Club’s 1961 Double-winning side.
An overwhelmed Brian said: “Tottenham Hotspur is the love of my life, it means so much to me to see Spurs win. We’re a big family here, we all stick together and I consider myself ‘one of our own’. I cannot thank the Club enough for giving me this experience to share with my family. It is something I will never forget.”
The Club is now calling on fans to give further individuals the chance to follow in Brian’s footsteps and be recognised as a Hotspur Hero.
