Tottenham Hotspur (Spurs) Football Club is located in North London. The club is also known as Spurs. Tottenham's home ground is White Hart Lane. The club motto is Audere est Facere (To dare is to do).
Michael Carrick has featured in all bar three minutes of our last 19 games and insists it is just the way he wants it.
Since being introduced to the starting X1 against Burnley back on November 9, the elegant Carrick appears to have made one of the central midfield positions his own with a string of fine performances.
He rejects any notion of tiredness and reasons that any mentions of fatigue are normally just a state of mind.
"I'm enjoying it and would rather be playing all the time," said Michael. "It has been a good run of games for me and, if the team is doing well, you don't feel tired and look forward to the next game. When people start complaining about tiredness and stuff it is more of a mental thing really.
"I am just delighted to still be in the team."
While it is generally strikers that are rotated, isn't it the case that the most energy-sapping position is the engine room of central midfield?
"I don't know, it is hard to say," responded the 23-year-old. "All positions are tough for different reasons, if you looking at the strikers, if you don't score you get criticised. You've got to be the match winner and if you are not scoring the team might not win games. If you look at our strikers since I've been here they have not stopped scoring goals for us."
Michael admits, after injury interrupted the latter stages of his career at West Ham, his recent run of games and displays provide a timely boost for him.
"Everyone goes through spells of injury and you've got to come through them and be positive about things. I am pleased that since I've come here it has all gone well for me - I hope that I can keep improving."
