Tottenham Hotspur (Spurs) Football Club is located in North London. The club is also known as Spurs. Tottenham's home ground is White Hart Lane. The club motto is Audere est Facere (To dare is to do).

Executive Directors


DANIEL LEVY is 42 and is Executive Chairman. He graduated from Cambridge University in 1985 with a First Class Honours Degree in Economics and Land Economy. Mr. Levy is also Managing Director of ENIC plc, a sports, entertainment and media group, a position he has held since 1995. He has particular experience in corporate finance and retail management. He is a Non Executive Director of a number of other public and private companies.

PAUL .Z. KEMSLEY is 37 and was appointed to the Board in September 2003 having joined our subsidiary Club Board in January 2002. He has over sixteen years experience in property expertise and since his appointment to the Board has advised or assisted the Board on a number of commercial areas and represented the Club on all its property based development projects. Mr Kemsley is currently Chairman of the Rock Group of Companies.

MATTHEW COLLECOTT is 36 and was previously Finance Director of ENIC plc having joined the group in 1998. He is a qualified chartered accountant and worked for Price Waterhouse in Europe and Africa before joining ENIC in 1998. He has a wide range of expertise in the operational management of football clubs having overseen ENIC's investments in Slavia Prague, AEK Athens and Vicenza Calcio. He is a non-executive director of ENIC limited.

Non-Executive Directors

DAVID BUCHLER is 52, a Chartered Accountant, and is Non-Executive Vice Chairman. As a Non-Executive Director he is Chairman of the Company’s Remuneration committee, and serves on the audit committee. He is a former partner of Arthur Andersen and has specialised in the reorganisation and restructure of companies. He is currently Vice President of his professional body, Association of Business Recovery Professionals.

MERVYN DAVIES is 51 and is Group Chief Executive of Standard Chartered PLC and a Non-Executive Director of Tesco PLC. As a Non-Executive Director, he is Chairman of the Company's Audit Committee and serves on the Remuneration committee. Mr Davies is a banker with extensive experience in London and in Asia, especially Hong Kong and China.
