'Best feeling ever' - Ryan on Three Lions bow

Ryan Mason was thrilled to be able to share his big moment on the international stage with some of his closest friends.
The central midfielder made his senior England debut as a second half substitute in Tuesday’s 1-1 draw with Italy – joining Spurs team-mates Harry Kane, Kyle Walker and Andros Townsend on the pitch in Turin.
Roy Hodgson’s men were a goal down when Ryan entered the fray, but the 23-year-old was unfazed and quickly set about helping to remedy that situation.
Indeed, he nudged the ball into the path of Andros, with the latter taking control and lashing into the top corner from the edge of the box to restore parity 11 minutes from time.
It all added up to a memorable night for the home-grown battler – one that he admits was very emotional.
“The occasion was full of joy and excitement really,” he said. “I was desperate to get on and when the gaffer gave me the heads-up that I was coming on I was a little bit nervous – but it was still the best feeling I’ve ever experienced.
“It’s a dream come true to represent your country and it was great to have three of our other lads on the pitch together when I got my chance. That made it that extra bit special.
“For Andros to score like that as well – we all know he’s got that quality and hopefully he can produce it more for Tottenham because we all know what a fantastic strike he’s got on him.
“It’s been a crazy season for me and to top it off with an England cap is unbelievable.”
