Mauricio Pochettino can’t wait for his first North London derby.
We travel to the Emirates on Saturday to renew acquaintances with Arsenal in the Premier League.
“I played Brazil v Argentina, Espanyol v Barcelona, Newell Old Boys v Rosario Central and Paris St Germain v Marseille,” explained Mauricio.
“I have experience of derbies in different countries with different teams and for me, it’s exciting to play against Arsenal on Saturday.
“It’s a big game, a big derby. I know what it means for us and for our supporters. I’m excited, because I like this rivalry.”
The Gunners edged us 1-0 in all three meetings last term – two in the Premier League and the third round of FA Cup.
We travel to N5 on the back of a come-from-behind victory against Forest in the Capital One Cup.
“That was important, a good victort and we’re all focused on Saturday,” added Mauricio.
“We need to play our way. It will be an emotional game, for sure, not tactical, not physical.
“Football is about emotion and this is the type of game you play with your heart.”
