Slovenian international Milenko Acimovic has agreed to join Spurs from Red Star Belgrade.
An official statement from the Club, released this afternoon, read:
Tottenham Hotspur announced today that Slovenian international and Red Star Belgrade attacking midfielder Milenko Acimovic has agreed to join the club under a four-year contract, once work permit formalities are concluded.
Acimovic is 25-years-old and has won 39 international caps playing for his country. The player left the UK after talks this morning to prepare for this summer's World Cup in Japan and South Korea.
Manager Glenn Hoddle commented: "Milenko is a player with a wealth of international experience which I am sure he will prove at the World Cup. He is a young man with tremendous ability and a good goalscoring rate for a midfielder. It is a great signing for the club."
