'A great talent' - Ade on Christian

Emmanuel Adebayor has revealed how Christian Eriksen really puts in the hours in order to make an impact on the pitch.

Our Danish international midfielder recently completed his first season in a Spurs shirt with 36 appearances and 10 goals to his name.

The 22-year-old’s dynamic playing style quickly endeared him to our fans following his arrival from Ajax.

And striker Ade, who has clearly also been impressed by Christian’s talents, insists those performances have been the result of much hard work on the training ground.

“He’s a great talent and a great professional,” declared Ade, who himself struck 14 times in 25 appearances in 2013-14.

“He has great vision too. He trains hard every day, early in the morning does his gym work ready to train and before the game you can see how he prepares.

“His contribution this season has been unbelievable.

“It’s his first season in the Premier League and he will only get better next season.”
