Legendary midfielder and fans' favourite Micky Hazard and Geoff Peters, King Power Stadium regular in his role as presenter/reporter for TalkSport, preview the season's finale against Leicester at Wembley.
The Legend - Micky Hazard
A skilful playmaker in his day, Micky joined us as a schoolboy and went on to lift the FA Cup and UEFA Cup in his first spell, progressing through the junior ranks to make 148 appearances between 1976-1985. He returned to play another 32 times between 1993-95 before retiring at 35. Micky previewed the season opener at Newcastle back in August, so we complete the circle with his thoughts on Sunday's finale...
"I look at the Champions League Final, Liverpool against Real Madrid and think that we beat Liverpool 4-1 at Wembley and drew at Anfield and beat Real Madrid at Wembley and drew in the Bernabeu. That says it all about the quality of our football.
"Also, we've played 37 away games in the Premier League this season. It's even tougher than that though because every team coming to Wembley is inspired. In many ways, it's been twice as tough because players are motivated to play at Wembley. They raise their levels. All that and we've still qualified for the Champions League next season and we have the chance to finish third.
"Looking at the game, I don't think it will be as tactical as we've seen many matches at Wembley. I think it will be more open, purely on the basis that we've qualified for the Champions League already and Leicester are safe. We can go out and play our football. We want to win, we want third place but unlike Newcastle in midweek, we don't have to win, that pressure is off now. I'm expecting a top performance as everyone will want to finish the season on a high."
The pressure is off and we can go out and play, enjoy ourselves and when we do that, not many teams can live with us.
The Pundit - Geoff Peters
Geoff is a presenter and reporter on TalkSport and a regular at Leicester...
"I want to see a positive performance from Leicester like we saw against Arsenal (3-1 win) on Wednesday night. Performances haven't been great, so that win was a relief. Hopefully we'll see Leicester finish the season with a flourish.
"Generally, Leicester go with a 4-2-3-1 system, which is something Claude Puel (manager) brought with him. In his first eight games we saw flowing, attacking football, beat Spurs at the King Power and played some really good stuff. However, it hasn't quite materialised into being attacking, exciting football in the last few months. He might try something else on the final day of the season, but that's how he's set up.
Geoff Peters on Spurs v Leicester
"I think it will be an open game, a bit like Leicester's win against Arsenal where neither side had too much to play for. Spurs will want to finish third, Leicester will at least finish ninth, could finish eighth, so these are two teams just going for it. You'd have to favour Spurs but let's hope it's two teams going for it and that it's an exciting game to finish the campaign."
