Season Ticket/Membership renewals and stadium update

Thu 05 May 2016, 16:45|Tottenham Hotspur

As we approach our final home game, we wanted to provide an update concerning future stadium arrangements and Season Ticket and Membership renewals.

Firstly, we should like to thank all our fans for their patience in the past few weeks concerning the delayed renewal process. We have been involved in discussions with the stadium contractors regarding the build programme and any impact this may have on the current stadium and our ability to stage Champions League fixtures. Considerable works are planned for the close season in order that we maintain our target of opening in time for the start of 2018/19 season.

A number of options are still being considered in terms of bringing certain elements of the build forward, in particular the North East corner.

At some stage, there will be a requirement for works to take place in this corner of the current stadium due to the need to install one of the six vertical concrete cores necessary to stabilise the new stadium structure. This core is the only one that sits inside the footprint of the current stadium. During the close season preparatory works will be undertaken on this area of the stadium.

In order to retain flexibility for these future works therefore, we shall not be selling Season Tickets in the North East corner for next season.

Around 1800 Season Ticket holders will be affected by this and all these fans will be contacted directly by the Ticket Office once alternative seats have been allocated in the next 10 days. The areas of the stadium that are affected by this are all seats within Blocks 24, 56, A and B and some seats in Blocks 23, 55 and C. No Season Ticket holder will be required to pay more for their relocated seat than the price paid for their current seat and any concessions that are applicable will remain in place.

We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and every effort will be made, where possible, to ensure that those relocated will be moved to equivalent seats and sat alongside the same set of supporters.

Given the need to relocate this section of our fans, current Season Ticket holders in all other areas of the stadium are advised that we shall not, unfortunately, be able to accept any applications for seat relocations to alternative areas of the stadium during this year’s renewals period.

The impact of any works that might be undertaken in the North East corner would result in a reduction in seats for games next season of approximately 4,000 in total when general admission and corporate seats are included.

In order to comply with all UEFA stadium requirements for staging Champions League fixtures, we are discussing options that include the possibility of  playing our European games away from White Hart Lane next season.

Please be assured that, regardless of venue, we shall continue to offer accessible pricing for cup games, including European matches and also retain our popular family ticket packages to ensure we maintain a fantastic atmosphere for cup fixtures. We shall provide further information on this as soon as confirmed.

In respect of Season Tickets and Membership -  online applications will go live and renewal packs will be sent out from 31 May with a deadline of 12 June for Season Ticket renewals and a deadline of 24 June for Membership renewals.

We should like to thank all of our supporters for their understanding in relation to the above information and in respect of the building works surrounding the stadium as we approach our last home game this season.

Taking into account possible works to the North East corner, we shall be undertaking additional photography at our match on Sunday against Southampton, including 360 degree shots to ensure that we capture the bowl in its entirety. Further details about this will be sent out soon. Please wear your colours and show your support for what is sure to be a memorable occasion.
